My family is planning a trip to the Dominion Republic later this year. I plan on one to two days of sports fishing. We are staying in the Puerto Plata area, which has sports fishing, but most of the info I find tends me to feel that Punta Cana has the best charters. Can anyone give me a heads up on their experience, and, is it worth the drive from where I am staying to Punta Cana Vs fishing out of Puerto Plata.
