Vicki, I hope you have a resolution by this point. If not, let me explain some of the process of permanent cosmetics. Part of the permanent makeup healing process is that the pigment on top of the skin will flake off. The pigment is under the skin in the dermal layer. That part will not flake off. It will take about 6 weeks to develop your final color. Hope this helps and post back if you have more questions. Shanan
