Hi Debbie & Sheila,
Thanks for sharing your experiences with everyone. It gives hope to others who suffer a bereavement, especially those who lose their children in such distressing circumstances.
There are always times when the pain is brought back to you, usually when you least expect it and when your guard is down.
Sometimes ECHO seems to forget the dark times and gets caught up in the joy of working with heart children that light up our lives, inspite of their conditions.
Rest assured that we always have room to include families that suffer the loss of a child, and recognise the contribution they can make to our understanding of the effect CHDs have on society.
My heart goes out to you all.
