Pat, I love your can-do attitude. It's easy to understand why you want the chemo to be over with so you can get back to your other interests. It doesn't seem like it to you right now, but eventually this will all be just a memory and you'll be so happy to have it in your past. And eventually you'll be back to sawing those tree branches and doing the other things you miss.
Lots of wildlife here, too. It's a continuous battle to try to outsmart them but I often lose. But sometimes they're a delight, though, like all the friendly toads that hop out from under the mulch, and the birds nesting nearby.
There is a kinship with other survivors, isn't there? I hope you'll keep coming back here and posting things. Please feel free to post whatever's on your mind. It's great to hear from fellow gardeners.
