Hello everyone! I'm pleased I looked in here today (8.30am in the UK on a wet, cold and windy summer's day) It's been 10yrs + since my bi-lat etc. and I've always grown my own vegetables and herbs etc. My doctor, a grateful recipient of surplus cucumbers/tomatoes/courgettes tried to ban me from gardening the first year but when he knew that that would make me really unhappy he advised sensible precautions (mentioned above) and also reminded me that I must NOT attempt to lift anything heavier than a bag of sugar (2lbs?) each arm to avoid lymphoedema. I thought this was sensible even tho sometimes my bags were a little heavier than that!
All the very very best to you and happy gardening.
