I have been practicing Yoga for 3+ years, mainly Ashtanga. It has been a wonderful addition to my life. Not only can I do postures that I never imagined I could do 3 years ago but it has helped me be flexible - emotionally, physically and mentally. It also gave me a normal routine while I was going through treatment and nothing else seemed normal. You can also set your practice to your limitations each time you step on the mat. Some days you will do more and some days you will do less. It is OK. So I say go for it. It will only benefit you. Namaste....mmmmmm.....
