Hi Nan. I LOVE yoga, Yoga is about finding balance between our physical, spiritual, and emotional beings. Do not, however, push yourself to get into asanas that feel uncomfortable or painful--especially at first! When you do an asana (pose) it is important to be willing to explore your boundaries, but it's not a competition, and it doesn't matter if you don't do it as "well" as others! Also, every yoga instructor has their own style, and there are many, many different schools of yoga--so it might take a few different teachers to find one you really click with!
