Today is the 14 year anniversary of my first diagnosis, and 6 years since my second. I'm VERY thankful for these years of life.
When I was going through treatment, a woman from work who also happened to live near me helped me through it and gave me moral support. She was 13 years out from her bc diagnosis at that time and I thought she was like a walking miracle. She inspired me so much. She gave me hope. Now she's 27 years out and her daughter is 8 years out. Hooray!
