This is terrible and there is no way to even know if food is genetically modified anymore. I just saw a movie about this, specifically how Monsanto is out to completely destroy small farmers who don't buy into their GMO seed industry. I believe it is called Food, Inc. There is also a film called Seeds of Destruction, which I don't think I've seen. Scary, scary stuff. Even if you grow your own food, where did the seeds originate? How can you even know for sure. Oh BJ, I can't imagine boiling food in PLASTIC and giving it to kids, of course, that is the norm now. The women I work with think nothing of zapping their meals in plastic or foam containers.....bleech is right!
