Oh, Marina, I forgot to say that it is Jung's broccoli seeds that were taken off the shelf at their store. So I don't know whether you'll be able to order them from Jung's until this problem is resolved. I don't know if it applies to other batches of seeds or just the batch that Jung's had.
If anyone else notices that sprouts or sprouting seeds have been removed at other stores, could you please post?
I wish they had just posted a warning sign about sterilizing the seeds before use, instead of denying us the choice of whether to use them or not.
Lots of prescription meds have really bad side effects (muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, jaw problems, blood clots, increased risk of cancer, bone thinning, increased risk of stroke, liver toxicity...) but people are allowed to have them anyway. I've seen estimates that tens of thousands of people die each year in the US due to adverse reactions to prescription drugs. Cigarettes are still legal. But we can't have broccoli seeds, even with a warning on the package?
