I've never sterilized the Jung's seeds so far, and I'm not sure if I will or not. Probably not. I eat so much food that's not sterile, like all the veggies I pick and eat while standing in my garden. Never had a problem with any of it. I think it actually helps our immune systems to be exposed to a variety of soil-borne bacteria. BUT----I'd feel differently if I had just taken antibiotics that had wiped out my natural healthy flora, or if I was on chemo or had some other immune deficiency. Salmonella can be dangerous, which is why I think it's important for everybody to be aware of it so they can decide for themselves.
Did you hear the story on the news that the FDA has found BPA in common supermarket foods? Well, Duh! That's hardly news. It's been known for years. It annoys me that the FDA has taken so long to point it out. Oh, and our infant mortality rate is 30th out of 31 industrialized nations---aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!
How are things going for you, Marina?
