to a large number of companies which are selling products which claim to have "proven" to cure. That may help you reduce your anger and disgust. The letter is available on the FDA web site. I have seen a number of interviews & read a number of articles about this. No where did I hear of gunpoint seizure or all of Dr Weil's products being seized. The rest of what you reference I don't remember either but I'm not trying to inflame anyone.
A bit more research--to maybe the source of the letter might have helped. But you seem to have expressed your feelings.
