It's uncertain whether the H1N1 flu causes a 'cytokine storm.' This happens when the person's immune system reacts so vigorously that it harms the person's own body. This happened in the Spanish flu epidemic and the SARS outbreak, and was a major cause of death---but nobody seems to be sure whether it's happening with swine flu. There is more information about 'cytokine storm' on Wikipedia.
Nevertheless, these additional precautions (besides the list in my previous post) may be useful to avoid a cytokine storm.
During the flu, avoid honey, dairy, bananas, and micro-algae (chlorella, spirulina).
Use Vitamin C, apples, resveratrol, skullcap, cranberry, ginger, and plenty of Vitamin D.
