Lana, I have a book called "Juicing for Life" by Cherie Calbom and Maureen Keane. Both writers have masters degrees in nutrition and are certified nutritionists. The first part of the book is a general introduction to juicing. The rest of the book is divided into various disorders, with juice recipes tailored to each disorder. There are 9 recipes specifically suggested for cancer, along with general tips on foods that fight cancer.
This recipe is simple and good:
1/4 inch slice ginger root
4-5 carrots
1/2 apple, seeded (shucks, why not throw in the whole apple?)
If you go to amazon.com, and type the title into their search box, it comes right up (about $10), along with lots of other juicing books. Some of them look really good----maybe I should get another! You can look at the reader reviews of each.
