front bag question

I have your generation 1 kit on my 99 S-10 xtreme p/n 75512 and i recently purchased new 50656 bags for the front. do i have to notch my spring pockets to fit these in or not? also will all my existing bracketry bolt on to these? i am told they will drop right in.
