OK, Epong is the crazy looking guy in the thief hideout. He's the one who looks just like a hork. Talk to him and you could get the hat. And to find brugeo,(BE SURE TO HAVE THE MAGIC CARPET) go to his house in Krage, then to the house in Litorud. When you find that Brugeo is at neither home, go to Estard. Talk to Hondara and you will find that he sold the hot stone to "some rich guy" (If you havn't done that already) Then use the magic Carpet to travel across the large body of water north of Orph to his mansion. Talk to him and he will tell you that he has the hotstone, but will not give it up. Leave the mansion, and he will stop you on your way out. He says he will let you have it, as long as he gets to come along with you. Then travel to the tallest tower, which is west of the medal king castle, and travel to the top. Place the hotstone on shrine and the great hero Melvin will be resurected. The shards you are looking for are in the basement of Brugeo's mansion north of Orph and on the resurection sight of Melvin (Will appear when you ressurect Melvin)
