to be fair though Arthur, it was only a handful of aorthside clubs. You mention Cuala and Faughs, but the northside clubs were mostly Vins, Ciarans and O'Tooles. Outside of these 3 the spread is as weak across the rest of Dublin. I just didn't think it necessarily right to make the distinction between south and north based on the fact that 3 clubs on the north were dominant for so long. Its more due to the good work of those clubs that they were successful, rather than anything whatsoever to do with geography. In my opinion anyway.
