jesus stan the war is over. He simply made the point that while the south is thriving and its great -it's important that we don't lose the northside as well- which is going to happen soon. That's not the south's problem though and they should be comended for their structures and if you read the article in the right context that's what he's saying. For God's sake that man would go to watch the dublin u14 hurlers playing in the Aran Islands - he's the only journalist who's ever given any print to hurling in the county.
the reality is Stan until 10 years ago northside teams bar the cuala and faughs blow ins- dominated the county championship and the dublin hurling team because hurling was only in small pockets on the southside. That's turned full cirle now and it's up to the northside clubs to pull the finger out and promote the game properly to match the south.
