but they don't have anything like that quality anymore- i saw them in the fitzgibbon this year and boland/brady and o carroll were 3 of their key men- without them they'd be severely weakended and they weren't overly impressive anyway. I really believe Boden would take them by 7-8 points at the moment. But i still believe they shouldn't be in it and instead of causing rancour can they not just stay out of it. They could well be back to full strength in a couple of years.
I fail to see what they gain by entering it other than picking up some county championships at the expense of hard-working club players.
