Made the trip to Breffni for what was a poor enough game. Lots of unforced errors by both sides. Some of our passing left an awful lot to be desired and we shot some shocking wides , first half in particular. Was very impressed with Eamon Fennell who is turning in to a great prospect. Be interesting to see how a midfield combination of Fennell & Whelan would work. That would free up Shane Ryan to possibly the half back line where we were poor last nite. Casey for all his physicality worries me. On another point , I wonder are we doing any ball work in training? Might explain the poor passing and shooting. Only Mark Vaughan seemed to have his shooting boots on last night.
