I defo agree, midfield as usual was a problem, fennell has potential, i hope he develops into a solid midfielder but he's not there yet, good club player not county material yet, hopefully the league campaign gives him good experience. We basically had no real power in the midfield and therefore the defence suffers. Its very hard for a defence to act as a solid group when the ball coming in is uncontested and being placed into the forwards hands. Its almost like when training and playing backs and forwards, the ball is just perfectly coming into the hands of the forwards, defence are run ragged.
The the fact that longford forwards got good ball into them regularly and with players like kavanagh for longford who is pure class can point with his eyes closed from any angle when things very difficult and the score line showed it all through out. Henry never had a chance and shocko barely got 40 seconds on kavanagh.
