Even allowing for the fact that it was a January match in a secondary competition, and the condition of the Parnell Park pitch was almost unplayable, it was a poor Dublin performance. We let in a silly goal and might well have been punished for a few more. Our defence was porous at times, and our tally of wides was deplorable. I only hope that there is a marked improvement on Sunday for the replay. Could it go to extra time again, I doubt it, but you never know.
