Most of Boden's teams come from St. Mary's, Rathfarnham, St. Colmcille's Knocklyon, Scoil Treasa Firhouse and Ballyroan BNS. The fact that all of these are primary school hurling/football playing is a major advantage to the club at juvenile level. No other Dublin club draws from such a quality base at primary school level, usually featuring only one Div. 1 school, whereas Mary's and Colmcille's are usually very much in contention in Div 1 hurling and football.
