Na Fianna – Bernie Caffrey (Chairperson), Jim Aughney (Secretary), Pat Coffey (team official), Dessie Farrell (player) and Aaron Shearer (Club member) – met the committee (with the exception of T. Ryan, a member of Na Fianna, who absented himself from this part of the meeting) as part of an investigation into an incident which took place at end of the SFC game between CP Na Fianna and CP Naomh Uinsionn played in Parnell Park on 22.09.07. Following this part of the investigation the committee, on the proposal of A. Kettle seconded by F. Brady, proposed the following suspensions; D. Farrell – 8 weeks – Rial 143 b Category 2 T.O. 2007, P. Coffey – 48 weeks – Rial 143 b Category 5 T.O. 2007.
