Posted by JOE on 26/9/2007, 3:01 pm Holden was a member of the victorious Dublin side that won the All-Ireland Football Championship in 1983. He died suddenly this morning. Holden played inter-county football and hurling for Dublin and was a member of the Cuala club in Dublin. A huge loss for his family, his massive circle of friends, his Club and Dublin GAA. He was a true Blue and a true Gentleman. Thanks for all the great memories Mick.
The death has taken place of Dublin GAA legend Mick Holden. He was 52.
