i wouldn't overly agree- on the cosgrove chance he was right to shoot - any inside forward in that position has to go for it- shane wouldn't be knowing for his accuracy. the real question is why Quinn wasn't the first sub when it was obvious we needed a goal.
I think you're all overlooking the fact that this team down the home stretch struggles and tightens up. Again i -re-iterate this team's probelms are in defence - you concede 1-15 you won't win many games . the kerry forwards tore us asunder at times.
We don't have any natural specialist corner backs and no natural full back- ask yourself how many teams in the last quarter century won all-irelands with that - i guarantee you its zero. We've plenty of good footballing backs but very few man -markers-and our best one was on the bench.
