I've been taking to guys from outside Dublin who just think its nuts how much we build up some of our players without grounds in a lot of cases. They reckon that it gets to the players also and they begin thinking they are better than they are ?? Not sure how true it is but maybe there is something to it as Clucko does come accross as thinking he is the gaa version of beckham with his distribution but doesn't match it enough for me ( granted he is the best shot stopper around ) or bryan cullen thinks he is the best footballer and tries to do too much instead of focusing on playing chb. Whelo fell into this trap for a long time before finally realising that he doesn't have to win games on his own and kick the miracle points etc. This may be the issue also with peoples opinion of Brogan as he may feel that he needs to lead the forward unit and tries to do teh impossible instead of doing what he does best and that is roasting his marker etc. Anyways just a thought
