Posted by Honcho Cosgrove was an unusual sub to bring on, to put it mildly... I can never figure out the thinking behind Pillar's switches. He brought Magee on (who did v well) but took off a scoring forward and goal threat (Bernard Brogan) and effectively replaced him with Shane Ryan (who I admire for his selflessness) leaving us with Ryan and Collie Moran in the half-forward line, two guys who can't really score... I can only assume that Cosgrove has been excelling in the 15-a-side training games the panel have. And obviously Goggins, Mossy and Bonner haven't. Cullen is one of our best players, he stepped forward when no one else could get a shot away yesterday and kicked two scores off his weak side. I don't think he was responsible for the so-called holes in defence. Donaghy moving out the field caused this as much as anything.

Pat, Makr Vaughan kicked possibly the score of the game just a few minutes after he had that miss... He finished with 0-5 and, I'm sure, didn't miss another free... What is it with Dublin fans, a freetaker scores 99% of his kicks and they want to complain about the 1%...
