Brilliant strategy.
As a (hopefully) constructive footnote, it would be best if the transitions in music volume are implemented as subtly as possible.
My wife and I make a quite a few compilation discs for later...um...enjoyment, shall we say, and radically different sound levels on different files can make for some surprises. This'd be just as true within one track as between several.
