Pam.....THANK YOU!!! you do not know how much it means to us.....as donor family members to have a recipient say things like that to us. Our son, Joe, was an organ donor, and there is nothing that reaffirms what we did was the right thing to do, more than getting a note such as yours. You can read about Joe under the donor stories. He is the handsome one in the red baseball uniform....not that he is the only cute one there, but Moms are allowed to be that way. Again, you are so welcome...it is people such as yourself that makes it 'ok' to have not heard from your son's recipients....if all of them are half as good as the ones I have met.....what a wonderful gift that would be.
