My situation is that I am a Donor Mom, as in my youngest son, Joe, died at the age of 14 when he drowned trying to save the life of a classmate when she became caught in a low-head dam. That was in August 1994. Almost 11 years ago. I have a hard time explaining the other two without going into a little bit of a longgggggggggg story. If you like, you can look up Joe's story on this website, it would be under Donor Family. Either under Joe Keller or Janet Keller....I am not sure which one anymore, if you cannot find it, let me know, and I will help you out. Joe's story is also listed at the top of the Donor Family Forum at the top of the page under Joe Keller's website. It is the one that the Mother's for Water Safety put together. And there is a link to Joe's story as told by me on that website also. Let me know after you read them what other questions you have. I have to say, for me personally it was THE most difficult decision I ever had to make.
