If you are talking about becoming a living donor of a kidney or liver segment, then you would definitely need parental consent until you are 18.
If you are talking about becoming a donor if something should happen to you in the future, a lot depends on the laws where you live. Most states still ask the nearest living relative for permission even if the individual has a signed donor card, so talking about it, as you have done, is the most critical thing to do: let other people know how you feel.
