Posted by Michele on 3/26/2003, 1:58 pm 2 years ago this April 10th my little brother (not so little, 18years old, 6foot 7 inches and 270lbs) was killed in a car accident. He was not driving but was a passenger in a car. He was the only one injured. Anyways, we were very close even though I am 10 years older than him. On the night of the accident when the Doctor came in and notified us that he did not make it, we immediatly, as a family decided to donate his organs. Three days later we received a call from the Organ Donation people, they told us that he helped over 70 people, and his main organs were not viable, so it was his bone marrow, main arteries, eyes, etc that was used. What I am trying to find out is, How do I find out who it was that my beautiful, amazing prince of a brother helped. I want these receipents to know what an amazing gentle giant he was and when he was living, what a caring and unselfish person he was and I am so glad that he was able to help them. I'm not sure if that is even allowed and I just want to know if anyone knows the steps. I would atleast like to meet the person that got his eyes, so I can atleast look into them again. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area in California and if anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thank You
