I just want to say thank you to all the donor families. I am a liver recipient of 11 years. I had it at the age of 13 and am now 24.My donor was an 11 year old girl from Arkansas. Though I dont know her or her wonderful family I never go a day without thinking of her and her gift inside of me. I run track at the US transplant games, When I am running, i like to think she is looking down on me from heaven and cheering for me. Along with this and other things in my life, i feel whatever I do, shes there.
