We want to Thank our donor family, but we were'nt given the opportunity, except to place a Thank you note in my daughters' file at her cardiologists' office. We don't know if it even was made available to the donor family. Does anyone have information on how we can get this thanks to them?
We would like to adopt a donor family, that has'nt heard from their recipient family because of similar curcumstances. My daughter recieved a heart on Oct.2, 1996.in St.Petersburg, Fl.
A nurse told us it possibly came from Pensecola, Fl. It would have come from a child of around 1yr to 2yrs old.
If anyone has an angel in Heaven, that has given the ultimate gift of life, and wants their family to grow by four more members, please email us!
We must warn you, we are sometimes hard to get along with. And we only do housework twice a week. Our table manners are unbelieveable, and we don't like to take our medicine, most times. But we do take a bath daily, that's a plus!
