Dear LeeAnne, With my son's kidney recipient, I had written all the recipients a letter about two months after the accident. I had already met my son's heart recipient at that point but wanted to talk with the others if possible. I wrote a letter and included my e-mail and Max's web-site incase they might just want to visit him and know about him without contacting me. I sent the letters to my transplant coordinator here in Southern California and she, has to read them first, then sends them to the recipients. Tom, my son's kidney recipient, e-mailed me about 2 weeks later after viewing Max's web-site. He was very kind. We only wrote a couple of times, I knew it was very emotional for him. I am lucky he decided to write before he got sick 8 months later. I would have never had a chance to get to know him. I will e-mail you personally to chat. Take care, Carolyn.
