I moved the "litter" out of their cardboard box nursery on Friday night, into a crate bottom in my bathroom. Except for the bold orange boy (who was off and running, so to speak, the instant I put him down in there), they weren't sure they were ready to leave the nest and go exploring. Rea the puppy, especially. She's 4-5 days younger than the kittens, I think, and wasn't as mobile as they were. But as of today she's in and out of the box with the rest of them, toodling around and - bless her heart - eliminating on the newspaper I put right next to the little litterbox I set up for the kittens (a low-sided 8" X 8" plastic food storage container I got at the dollar store). (And bless their hearts, they've been using the box since the moment I put it in the nursery with them a week ago. Rea's mom is one of the dirtiest dogs I've ever met, it looks like maybe her daughter's going to learn cleaner habits from her "siblings".)

OK, my turn to be on top.....
They finally ended up in this position and went to sleep
