Slowly, slowly, the Baby progresses. She stood next to my leg yesterday, I could feel her curls on my skin. Until she noticed I'd seen her, then she was off like a shot.
I placed a dog this afternoon. A bit of a bull in a china shop, but sugar sweet. Very soft mouth, licks treats out of fingers because he doesn't want to touch them with his teeth. Nice young family with a 3.5 year old boy who's used to big, enthusiastic dogs. Doggie - Sinatra - saw his new dad and it was love at first sight. He ran right up to the guy, sat, looked up into his face, then stretched his head up and laid it on the guy's knee. "Mister, I think I LOVE you!!" Must have been a man's dog in his former life. Fellow was charmed. I'm happy dancin', I liked the dog but I'm so glad he's gone. 
It'll simplify yard rotations, I'll only have to do 2 instead of three. (Two personal male dogs can't be together, neither can be with other large males. Large male foster = 3 shifts. No large male foster = easier pack management.)
Lab mixed with something, I'm thinking maybe Catahoula. I don't know where else those blue eyes and brindle patches would come from.
Sure would like to see the baby Daze in her outfit!
