Linda- You are speaking with a third generation dog keeper who is missing many marbles (me), a grizzled vet tech who shows and mo's and knows plenty , and a rabid dog trainer who teaches the Big O and has a house full of puppy mill rejects to rehab and rehome. IE- not the general public as far as doggie doings.
I'm just a mere puffy fluffy piker as to rescue, but we've done about fifty plus dogs assorted - before we stopped counting. That does not include sainted mammy (non bernard) before me also into show and rescue and her maw before her. If it is a canine that needs major grooming- we are so there. LMBO
BTW- makes me no never-mind, but it should you- As to what constitutes your "temperAment" testing. If it is a la Sue S and her iffy dealie of what is what - imho pfft. *G* OK! All those free-roaming dogs at your boarding facility- sounds like a law suit waiting to happen.- imho. (yes, we all have them- dogs and opinions. My opinion is lots of dogs don't wish to hold paws and walk into the sunset together- it's rather a retro idea (kinda like - everybody go to the dog park and see what develops. *G*) Of course I am in the minority on this current liddle trend. LOL OK!
