Seen this? "No cages concept" for the dog daycare and boarding- if I read correctly. (iffy- rushing)
No kennels for my tinys- equals mort. *G* Everybody running free- a concept I don't care for, as imho not safe for many toy breeds.
As to the article; while many speak in the shorthand of alpha and whatall- in truth if one observes a dog pack, there are far more intricate behaviors; body language and facial expressions etc among a canine group than the shorthand of alpha, beta and omega may describe. The canine um fraternity of Alpha Beta Oh, may or may not resemble the frat boys from Animal House- and even if it did, D-day, Bluto and others led at some group doings, while others (even the stork) might lead the parade at specific events. What? Yaz.
Perhaps the article posted is mostly a sales tool to promote La Linda's canine retreat and combo romper room. Fine for some dogs perhaps. Not too very for others.
As for articles writ- I wish somebody would ex-pound (heh) on dog owners' idiotic and imho lazy and dangerous use of waay extended flexis- instead of dog owners ever learning how to safely walk their dogs on leads. Even Rufus Thomas' song on the subject of dog walking - is about as much good as a flexi extended into the next state (often a state of lack of any control). However, though the song may damage one's ears briefly, a flexi may well remove a finger permanently. Hi-ho, tippy toe, she broke the needle and she can't sew, walking the dog. Walking the dog. If you don't know how to do it, let me show you how to walk the dog. Yes, show people how to safely walk their dogs- and also to keep them under control and - far away from my fab three in the danged blasted park. What was topic?
Oh- dog training. Yes, let's.
Dog Training Info-rama.
