I saw the pics of your beautiful little happy Daze. Absolutely lovely. Interesting coat. Did I ever tell you that the family dog when I was a tween and teen was a mini poo? Runt of the litter so he was on the small side, and he had that same loose curly coat. Loved that dog - sweet little boy in a fur suit.
You should see what I'm working with now.
There's an adorable little (12 pounds) cocker/poodle under all that fear and fur. She didn't move from that spot for 3 days, until I pulled her out of there and put her in a big crate in my living room, so she could watch the other dogs interacting with me. She looooooves the other dogs, will follow them out to the yard and back in, and is happy and playful when she's outside with them. However, even after 4 months, I still can't touch her. The times I've had to catch her to pick her up for something, she loses bladder and bowel control. I literally scare the crap out of her. Long-term project. There's a very sweet, happy dog in there and I'm determined to see her realize her potential.
You can't tell, but she's looking directly at me. Gonna have to catch her soon to trim up those bangs so I can see her eyes.
