Not a vet

Worked as a vet tech in my younger years, but that was a LONG time ago! But serious animal folks (such as many who you'll find on a board such as this) tend to try to keep up with this sort of stuff. In fact, it really helped in my appointment yesterday because my vet (who is confident enough not to be threatened by me asking lots of questions) and I were able to have a two-way conversation about what we thought might be going on and what the possible courses of action might be. I'm feeling MUCH more confident today than I was on Wednesday evening about the prognosis for my girl. Fingers crossed my confidence will be justified!
