Has be been checked by a vet? Any sudden change in behaviour there could be a medical problem.
This is one of the easiest problems to solve, feed him away from the other dog so you can move round. Put just a little food into his dish when he is fed, when he has eaten it walk past and drop a little more in. Keep doing this until he has had all his food. If this is done at every mealtime he will soon look forward to people coming up to him when eathing.
Personally I don't touch any of my dogs when they are eating, I don't like being touched when I am eating either. Nothing in life is free can make this problem worse, seen this quite a few times because it has reinforced to the dog that his food is in danger. A dog that doesn't fear his food will be taken off him is never food aggressive, they don't need to be.
It took Merlin, my Greyhound 24 hours to stop threatening to attack me with this method.
