After separating from husband, sheltie and my self staying with brother and sister-in-law, they have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Sheltie is guarding food and water bowls, which are always full, low growling as pets walk by, must be the first to go in/out of door and has started barking excessively. there are some obvious reasons for this dominant behavior, but I can't help feel there is something else going on with her, will this behavior stop when i get my own place? If it doesn't what do I do then?
