MIck's Mom was afraid it might be inappropriate to continue using "Mick's Mom", and thought about taking a new handle. Among other things, she wondered how she would answer when people asked her why she called herself "Mick's Mom" when there was no Mick.
I told her that Mick would be with her forever, and for that reason alone she would always be "Mick's Mom". And that someday - when someone - wondering about her handle - asked "Who's Mick?", it would be a lovely opportunity to share her memories of the dog she loved so much. Those memories which will - after all - keep him alive forever.
Here's to remembering Mick, the grand old man who loved his Mom. And to Mick's Mom, who will never forget him, and never stop loving him!
