How many dogs do you have right now. 6

Is there an optimal pack size? I think this depends on the people who have te dogs, some can cope with more dogs than others.
Why is that number optimal? Some people cope better than others, dogs with problems need more attention than those without problems but all dogs need attention so being able to give their dogs what they need can be difficult to do. I now have 2 special needs dogs, Ellie needs a lot of attention keeping her clean but Joe prefers to sleep in his crate. Joe could easily be forgotten so I have to make sure he gets times with me daily.
How much time in a day do you devote to each dog? Depends on the dog, some dogs need more time than others, some dogs don't want so much time, if you try to get them to accept more time than they want you can cause problems. It is more about knowing your dogs and giving them what they need.
