Hi All, Tofi, my older Xolo, has been having some real digestive problems. If I can get out of the snowy drive tomorrow she is going to visit the vet to make sure it isn't anything serious- But I've been cooking cream of rice cereal and boiled chicken for her. It not only has helped her tummy but I've noticed her itchy allergies have let up.
I only feed the best kibbles but now I'm thinking I'll just keep cooking for the dogs (the cats love the fresh cooked chicken too). But it seems like I should throw some pureed veggies (maybe a little fruit too) in the food, and some calcium to balance the phosphorus in the meat (can I use yogurt?). Anything else that I should add? One vet suggested part of a human multivitamin. Hum....
Any recipes that you know of? I tried raw chicken and no one went for it. Not even the kitties. Well, they're spoiled. They *love* the local deli's chicken. At $8.00 a pop they should :oP
