Both Purina and Nutro are mediocre to average foods and not high quality.
I would consider switching to something like Canidae, Innova, Wellness (though I am hoping with Wellness going mainstream in PetCo that the composition has not changed). California Natural, Merrick, Chicken Soup (pet food)... All are far better brands than Nutro and Purina ONE. I used to feed Nutro but started seeing changes in my dogs after Nutro changed formulas when they added the white bag (as I call it).
