Are there any mastiff owner out there that can tell me how much they feed there mastiff and what type of food? I feed mine Nutro large breed. He will be 2 at the end of February. He stands 35" at the shoulder, and weighs about 170 right now. I feed him about 7 cups of food a day which is actually more than the recommended amount, but he still acts as if he is not getting anywhere near enough food. I have spoken with my vet, but am told to follow the directions on the bag... I have owned a lot of dogs in my life (mostly Golden Retrievers) and have never had a dog act so hungry all the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks.
