Jenn, THANK YOU for doing your homework! I did as you...saved my pennies and waited. It was well worth it to have a quality dog. Honestly, I think you would be happy with Chrisman if you want to stick local. Chris and Manny are a hoot! Very opinionated and tell it as it is. I enjoy them. Their grooming is masterpiece and they know their dogs and their lines. If you do want to go down in price, check out the midwest. There are some awesome breeders and the prices tend to be a bit less than east coast. You could get a boy for $1500 from an awesome breeder and have him shipped.
LP, are you bragging on my boys?! I sure hope so as they both think they're the beaus of your poodle-licious crew. ;-)
Jenn, you can see some of my dogs on my website (jamimaltese.com). Soda Pop, CGC also has a leg towards his CD. He enjoys obedience, rally, and agility. My youngster starts a CGC prep class next week. A friend of mine in NYC has a year old male from Chrisman and he has his CGC and is working to get certified for therapy work. Very bright little dogs!
